1、蒸汽鍋爐生火之前,應檢查各閥門水管、汽管、壓力表、安全閥、水位表、排污閥等是否處在完好狀態。

2、蒸汽鍋爐用水要經軟化處理,并保持清潔,不準含有油脂。

3、水位表的玻璃管外應裝置堅固的防護罩,外部應保持清潔.每班應沖洗一次,察看水位表里的水面是否能迅速上升或下降。如在運行時看見水位表內有水面呆滯不跳動,應立即查明原因,防止形成假水位。
